MINERAL WATER SPRING
The spring of the natural mineral - rich water is at Gobet, in the woods of the Sundiken Mountains next to the stream bed. There is a continuous flow at the outlet of the source and springs for many centuries without interruption. There isn't any residential or agricultural area in the immediate vicinity of the spring. The water is upwelled in an area surrounded only by mountains. For these reasons, there isn't any factor that may prejudice the soil and affect the mineral value of the water. The nearest settlement is 5200 meters far from the source, the town of Lacin, where the factory is established. The natural mineral rich water upwells at 540 ground elevation.
The catchment is completely tiled and built according to architectural, reinforced concrete construction and static calculations as well as in compliance with the technical specifications relating to water and also other relevant legislations enacted by Ministry of Public Works, Provincial Bank, the Ministry of Health and State Water Works Institution (DSI). Although the source has a sufficient flow to satisfy our production needs, considering an eventual capacity increase, an 180m profound well has been dug at 7.5-meter distance to the source, which is able to supply, if required, an additional spring water resource with 1.2 liters/sec flow. It is connected to the catchment. A generator room into the catchment area has been built in prefabricated concrete in order to extract the well water through the deep well pump. The existing generator in this room can be remotely started - stopped by mobile phone's sim card. All materials used in catchment are stainless HDPE100 material.
